DSC01720 Issac’s school sports day was held on 18 Jul 2009. It was a Saturday. It was splitter into 2 different age group. The 5 and 6 years old children event was held first from 8:00am sharp to 9:30am. After that, it was 3 and 4 years old children turn and events started from 9:30am to 10:30am. And, all the children had to wear the school P.E. T-shirt with socks and sports shoes.

It was a lot of parents and children by the time we reached the tadika. It was really catched our eyes because in front of the school, there were small stalls with foods, drinks, or second hand items to be sell off, or some games, balloons, etc.

Issac joined the game Zig Zag Boom. When we saw him. He was alright. We were sitting at the tent near to the playground. But, eventually the game started and his turn to play, he started to cry. Probably because he saw us there. Daddy was the referee of the game. Then, he was trying his best to ran and ‘crying’ at the same time. Of course, his team lost. But, at the end of the event, every child have a medal. Teacher Tuan said, “Every kid is the winner today, and they deserve the sports medal. They are doing great today!”

DSC01674Toy Parade

Have a parade. if one of the babies can’t crawl yet, march the parade around them. Each child holds a stuffed animal or favourite toy and marches around (or crawl) to the music. Scarves are also fun to wave overhead. Adults also participate, changing leaders every few minutes so everyone has a chance to direct the group. If kids are old enough, the leader can do other things to be followed like jumping, twirling, or kicking the legs up.
